Isolation

It’s important to

Love yourself and

Care for yourself

In times of need

In times of isolation

Take a step back

Open your eyes

Look in the mirror

You’re love and care

 Provides comfort to someone

During this time

Text, call and talk

To people who care and love

For you

Family, friends, coworkers

And much more

Need that little text of

It will be okay and

Don’t worry

For you will be safe

In these dark times

Isolation is lonely

But you have me here — for you

I wrote this poem for my leadership class and I decided to post it here. I’ve been really into poetry lately and hope to publish my poetry someday, maybe even soon. Enjoy 🙂
